Assistant Director of Residential Life & Academic Initiatives Office of Student Life

The Assistant Director of Residential Life & Academic Initiatives is a full-time, live-in optional position requiring 40 hours of work each week, which may include some evenings and weekends. The Assistant Director of Residential Life & Academic Initiatives will work closely with the Director of Residential Life to build residence halls that foster student well-being, build diverse and inclusive communities, support students’ academic success, and advance UMR’s Vision, Values, and Strategic Plan.The Assistant Director of Residential Life & Academic Initiatives will model UMR’s values: diversity and inclusion, respect, community, human potential and evidence-based decision making. 
The Assistant Director of Residential Life & Academic Initiatives is a member of the Student Life Team reporting to the Director of Residential Life who oversees the entire Residential Life program. Contributing to the growth, vibrancy and success of the Residential Life program is expected by the Assistant Director of Residential Life & Academic Initiatives, under the direction and support from the Director of Residential Life.
